MAJI Technologies releases JAM-Tech© 4.0 and JAM-TechHT©
MAJI Technologies announces today the release of JAM-Tech© 4.0. With many enhancements to the already feature rich development tool, the key feature in version 4 is the ability to run JAM-Tech© applications on handheld devices. This is accomplished with the addition of our new product, JAM-TechHT©. JAM-TechHT© is a Java based applet that runs on handheld devices that use the Windows CE operating system. This is a significant technology leap for handheld users that not only allows for applications to be run, but for data to be accessed in real-time.
MAJI is targeting the healthcare industry where the handheld devices can have a major impact on the way data is accessed.
Significant Improvements:
- Handheld applications! Now applications can run and access data in real-time over wireless and/or cellular networks. This is truly a unique feature.
- New Application Development Environment front-end. All developer tools and functions are centralized in a single screen.
- Executable Objects. This allows for calls to external applications to be called from with JAM-Tech© applications.
- New Components. JAM-Tech© developers will now have access to new components such as calendars, image buttons, and toolbars.
- Standard Application Components (SAC). JAM-Tech© now includes several standard application components (SACs) that give developers a base application to use and/or customize. These SACs currently include: WorkQue and InfoObjects.
JAM-Tech© is a patent pending technology that allows for applications to be designed, developed, and delivered over the Internet, without any special client software.
